Data Deletion Policy

RoutineHQ allows you to permanently delete your account and personal information.

This page explains how deletion works and what is removed.

1. How to request deletion

To delete your account:

  • Email support@myroutinehq.com from the address linked to your RoutineHQ account
  • Include the subject: "Account deletion request"
  • Your request will be processed within 72 hours.

2. What is deleted

The following is permanently deleted:

  • Your account profile
  • All routines
  • All steps and notes
  • Run history
  • Favourite tags
  • Insights and analytics
  • Any uploaded files (if applicable)

All deletions are permanent and cannot be reversed.

3. What is temporarily retained

As part of our security and backup procedures:

  • Deleted data may remain in encrypted database backups for up to 90 days
  • Backups are automatically purged and cannot be restored manually
  • We may retain limited transactional records (e.g. invoices) where required by tax laws.

4. After deletion

Once processed:

  • You cannot log into RoutineHQ
  • Any attempt to sign in will show "account not found"
  • You may create a new account at any time
