Routine guide
A weekly or fortnightly hour to reply to emails, file documents and book appointments.
Life admin builds up when it is scattered across evenings and spare minutes. A dedicated admin hour lets you batch those tasks into one focused session.
Use this routine once a week or every two weeks, ideally at a quiet time like Sunday afternoon.
Collect your admin backlog
Pull emails, letters and loose tasks into one simple list so nothing is hiding in the background.
Reply to personal emails and messages
Answer quick messages first, then move to anything that needs a short decision or form.
File important documents
File digital and paper documents in simple folders you will actually maintain.
Renew or cancel things
Handle renewals for policies, memberships or services and cancel anything no longer useful.
Book appointments
Book dental, medical, car or school appointments you have been putting off.
What if my backlog is huge?
Start with a slightly longer first session focused on urgent renewals and forms. Accept that everything else will clear over several future sessions.
Can I mix work admin in this routine?
It is usually calmer to keep work and personal admin separate. Create a similar work routine and run it during work hours.
Save this template as a reusable routine, tweak the steps and run it in Run Mode whenever you need it.
End-of-Month Review
A short monthly close-out to review money, calendars and loose tasks before the new month starts.
Weekly House Reset
A calm weekly checklist to reset your main rooms so the week starts tidy instead of overwhelming.
Monthly Bills
A once-a-month review to pay bills, check statements and tidy up your money admin.
